Some meals are more than just food—they’re a tradition, passed down through generations. Braised Swiss steak was one of Mrs. Ratcliff’s (Kim’s mom) go-to dishes, slow-cooked until the meat was fork-tender and packed with deep, rich flavors. It was a meal that felt like a warm embrace after a long day, filling the house with the irresistible scent of tomatoes, onions, and perfectly seasoned beef.
Dishes like this are a reminder of the importance of taking your time in the kitchen, letting the ingredients work their magic. With every bite, you can taste the care that went into it—the kind of meal that’s meant to be shared, savored, and remembered.
